This course provides a hands-on introduction to using a Hi-Lift jack, one of the most versatile and essential tools in off-roading. Participants will learn the basics of safe operation, including how to lift vehicles in various situations, clamp materials for repairs or recovery, and spread objects like logs or rocks to aid in vehicle recovery. Safety measures and proper equipment handling will be emphasized throughout the course.

This advanced course covers the lesser-known but highly effective use of a Hi-Lift jack for winching in situations where traditional winches may not be available. Participants will learn how to rig the Hi-Lift for winching, the proper techniques for pulling vehicles or objects, and how to handle complex recovery scenarios. Emphasis will be placed on rigging safety, anchor selection, and force calculations to ensure successful recoveries.

This foundational course teaches the core principles of winching using electric or hand-operated winches. Participants will cover key topics such as proper winch setup, selecting anchor points, using recovery straps and snatch blocks, and winching techniques for different terrains. The course will also highlight the importance of understanding winch capacity, line maintenance, and safety protocols to avoid equipment failure and personal injury.

Jeeps will start rolling out at 7pm and make their way through the south parking lot of the Branson landing into the service road street in front of the fountains!

Take a scenic cruise down Branson Landing Blvd on your way to the Light & Sound Show-Off!
